I’m Carly - an architect-turned-”eco”humanitarian-turned-traveling photojournalist.
Since I was very young, I have always had a penchant for looking at things from a different angle, actively seeking out perspectives that challenge my own world views and ideas. Having traveled and lived amongst the world’s most remote and fascinating cultures, I’ve been compelled to capture the incredible peoples and stories I come across with my camera lens. Whilst working for many years alongside nonprofits in developing countries and filming documentaries with my partner Harrie, I aim to capture raw moments that showcase humanity and make us all think more deeply about life.
