The cobble stone streets of Oaxaca overflowed with spirited mariachi music and dancing as a wedding parade, called “callejoneada” made its way to the afterparty. Carrying various flowered offerings and decorative regalia, traditionally-dressed men and women swirled through the crowds with stunning color and poise. The rest of the wedding guests stumbled over their glasses of mezcal in a wonderful flurry of cheer.
